CAE ENGINEER – Gothenburg

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a CAE Engineer to take responsibility for thermal properties and performance in our electric motors.
What you'll do:
● Set an overall thermal and lubrication strategy to optimize losses and cooling in the sub system.
● Analyse the mechanical losses in the motor including oil flow and lubrication.
● Build the simulation model representing the thermal behaviour, and together with design and test engineers optimize the model and the product.
● Develop strategies and models for oil flow, thermal dynamics, and losses along with flow and pressure calculations.
● Prepare reports showing the analysis of the system and documentation for certification.
Who you are:
● Possess good knowledge about cooling systems along with long experience in good design for lubrication and heat dissipation from motor designs.
● Collaboration and cooperation skills, rotating reference frames and multiphase flow experience.
● Technical experience with Smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH) solvers, Conjungated heat transfer, 1D/2D/3D CFD, #D steady stay to 1D drive cycles Shape a topology optimization along with tools such as Motor CAD, Star-CCM+, Particle works and GT Suite.
