CAE Engineer - Thermal

We are looking for a Senior CAE Engineer - consultant for a company in Gothenburg. You will take responsibility for their electric motors' thermal properties and performance.
Start asap. Contract until December 31 2024, to begin with.
Responsibilities
Set an overall thermal and lubrication strategy to optimize losses and cooling in the subsystem.
Analyze the mechanical losses in the motor, including oil flow and lubrication.
Build the simulation model representing the thermal behaviour.
Together with the design and test engineers, optimize the model and the product.

Deliveries
Strategies and models for oil flow, thermal dynamics and losses.
Flow and pressure calculations
Reports showing the analysis of the system
Prepare documentation for certification

Competence Specification
Good knowledge of cooling systems
Long experience in good design for lubrication and heat dissipation
Experience in motor designs
Collaboration and cooperation skills.
Rotating reference frames
Multiphase flow
Smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH) solvers
