What’s in it for you?
Wouldn´t it feel both exciting and challenging to be a CAE Engineer involved in studies of new concepts and be able to give important input to the design engineers throughout the whole development process? 

As our CAE Engineer you will be part of a shared service team that supports the complete doors, including Door Structure, Trim and Glass, Sealings and Door mechatronics. You will work cross-functionally with CAE colleagues from Durability, Safety, NVH and Solidity

What you will do
You will perform finite element simulations and evaluate new concept suggestions based on strength, durability, safety, and other door related load cases. Our CAE team is also responsible for advanced engineering studies, method development and different kind of optimizations. You will have a close collaboration with our attribute centers and in some cases you will support with fulfilling the requirements. 

You and your skills
•    We see that you have a Master’s degree in engineering, with focus on applied mechanics. 
•    Experience from practical work with FE simulations, where you have gained skills in Ansa, LS-Dyna, Abaqus and Nastran. 
•    Meritorious if you have experience in optimization and knowledge in programming languages, like Python or Matlab

You should have a good knowledge in both verbal and written English and, since we produce cars, we do believe that you have a driver’s license even though it’s not a must. We also believe that you are a team player with a positive attitude, owner of good communication skills, good learning and adaptation capabilities, easy decision making ability and a willingness to drive issues to a solution.
