CAE IT Engineer

The global (and local) High Performance Computing (HPC) market is growing in a fast pace, and so does the requirements of the CAE IT environment. 

In the role as CAE IT engineer, you will work with one foot within CAE and one within IT, bridging CAE R&D and IT departments. You will work with CAE method development, improving tools and optimizing CAE resources usage and supporting the R&D organization. There are two main directions within this role, one towards HPC and one towards CAE applications, and depending on your interest and background both directions (or one of them) can be relevant!

This is a senior role, and in addition to the technical aspects you will also be in contact with many of the users, leading user forums and supporting the R&D organization. This means that communication is an important part of the daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

In order to succeed in this role we believe you have a few years of work experience within CAE and HPC. We believe you also have:
MSc., or PhD within mechanics, mechatronics, automotive, engineering mathematics or similar.

Experience from working with HPC and computational clusters, either hardware or software.

Great communication skills in English and preferably Swedish.

It is a big plus if you also have:
Experience from scripting/programming in; Python and MATLAB, Bash or Korn Shell.

Familiar with working with AGILE framework
