CAE/Simulation Driven Engineering Graduate Programme 2017

If you have passion and drive for simulation driven engineering and design, you can join a career-boosting programme designed around your potential to become an experienced engineer in a global organisation.

For 24 months you will be fast tracked through departments such as Body & Trim, Powertrain, Chassis, Electrical and Vehicle Engineering, with coaching and support along the way. We have designed the programme around your ambition to become an experienced CAE Engineer and it includes introduction, training, study trips, projects and job rotations. We will create a clear career target - a position based on your aims and capabilities. You will be part of a team of graduates that together will develop and build a strong network within the organisation. After the programme you will have extensive career opportunities in engineering and get a flying start into core operative CAE Engineering.

All positions will be placed at Volvo Car Group's head office at Research & Development in Gothenburg. You will be offered a permanent position in an engineering team from the start of the programme. After the completed programme you will have a continued development within your home organisation.

Your profile
We are looking for students expecting to graduate spring semester 2017, with passion for CAE Engineering, new technology and design. Your long term goal is to become a Senior Engineer. We would like you to enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the ability to act independently. You have great communication skills and a holistic view. In addition, we are looking for people with great innovation ability that show great commitment and energy!
In order to qualify for our graduate programme, you need to have the following personal qualities and required qualifications:

Required qualifications

* Master and/or Bachelor within Mechatronics, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Chemical-, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering disciplines
* Graduate year spring semester 2017
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Sound understanding of physics and mathematics
* Driver's license B
