Job Description
As a Junior Buyer for our café business, you are together with our Sourcing Manager responsible for translating the café concept into sourcing needs and find the best solutions to secure our supply chain while optimizing price and maximize savings.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
Evaluate suppliers, producers, and wholesalers
Support area teams and local café managers with sourcing related trainings, issues, and supplier contacts
To uphold and represent the ethos of the café concept where food and beverage quality and transparency and traceability are essential, without compromise.
Lead minor sourcing projects in accordance with the defined sourcing process.
Forecast levels of demand for services and products
Forecast price and margin trends and their impact on future activities
Keep track of monthly stock levels at our wholesalers
Administrate the café products in the different systems
Qualifications
As a person, we believe you are collaborative, proactive, and self-driven person who is eager to learn and develop both yourself and the people you work with, you can work both independent but also enjoy being part of a team and achieving things together. To thrive in this role, you need to be communicative, structured, and organized as well as being a problem solver that is self-motivated and sees possibilities.
To be considered for this role you have:
At least 2 years of experience from a chain company in café/restaurant/food industry
Experience working with Fast Moving Consumer goods is meritorious
Experience working cross functional between several different departments
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Strong administrative skills
