Product Verification is where it all comes together in Verification and Validation of our products. Together we plan and execute all testing, verification and validation needed to secure quality and functionality of components, sub-systems and complete machines for Volvo CE. We collaborate in projects with all of Volvo CE Technology and other business units within the Volvo Group to develop our future products and offers.


As Calibration Engineer, you will join our Maintenance & Testing Technology team at the R&D site in Eskilstuna. You will be the lead engineer for our calibration lab and sit on the driving seat to develop and improve the internal operation.


In this role you are responsible for calibration methods, evaluation and documentation for test equipment to secure measurement uncertainty and traceability. You will also be a key player in technical support for the testing organization and the interface towards our external suppliers.

Required knowledge and experience for this position:
B.Sc or M.Sc within relevant field or comparable work experience
Strong background and proven experience and skills in measurement technique, mainly within temperature and pressure
Proficient in Swedish and English, both speaking and writing
Knowledge and experience in ISO 17025 & ISO 10012 are considered a merit
