D11, D13, D16 AND ALTERNATIVE FUELS PRODUCT TEAMS ARE LOOKING FOR FOUR NEW TEAM MEMBERS TO FILL IN THE CALIBRATION LEADER POSITION


Early in the morning, you arrive at the office and grab a cup of coffee, you meet your feature architect and discuss a new concept that can significantly improve our product, it is a complete system solution that will require hardware, software, and calibration synchronization, you agree with her to start discussions on the next calibration meeting to set up a plan.
After finishing your coffee, you walk to the test cells and meet the team leader from combustion and EATS and agree on which tests to perform in the coming week, they bring up one point that needs to be escalated and ask for support, you agree to take with the product owners. You walk down to the workshop to review the status of the engine that will be needed in 2 weeks for the certification test, the work is ongoing, and the engine will be ready on time to start the test.
On your way back to the office, you meet your product owner, you talk about your weekend plans, and he talks about his plans with his husband, you ask for support regarding the points escalated by the team leaders, and he takes the task to remove the roadblocks.
You join your team for lunch and in the afternoon, you attend to the Australian expedition meeting where you review the expedition results. You discuss the results with the vehicle calibration team, everything shows that we are ready to launch the product in that market.
The technology leaders have provided input for the calibration plan and based on your experience you build the calibration plan to be executed by the calibration teams in the coming 10 weeks. Over an afternoon coffee, you and the test planner meet and agree on the test cells to be used, you go back to your desk and complete the calibration plan with the test cells assigned and distribute it to all calibration engineers, you prepare to close for the day to pick up your kids from day care

YOUR ROLE


As a Calibration Leader you will be key player in the product team and focus on leading, cooperating and delivering the complete calibration for D11, D13, D16 and alternative fuels engines.
Your main task will be to Develop the calibration plan for the complete product and drive and anchor the calibration according to set plan together with all stakeholders.
You also Secure test cell planning for calibration activities and drive calibration reviews and secure calibration maturity prior release
Your work close together with Software product owners to evolve end product features
As a lead engineer you are also expected to be a driver of methodology development within your field and mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues

We think you are a proven leader with background of engine and/or EATS calibration, you are a team player able to show the aim for all team players to focus on. You are excellent at collaboration and communication towards multidisciplinary colleagues, and you are always curious to find new solutions to improve our products. You will be working in a global environment, and we think you are fluent in written and spoken English. In this role you will be a key player in the product team and focus on leading, cooperating and delivering the complete calibration together with multidisciplinary teams at GTT.

QUALIFICATIONS


We expect you to have a university degree within engineering. We also count on that you have 3-5 years’ experience in areas such combustion/EATS/Driveline calibration. It’s a merit if you have driver’s license for truck.
