Your experience in embedded software calibration and testing would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction.

What you´ll do

Our E-axle Software team is a part of the Polestar´s Propulsion department, is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations. The team consists of E-machine control engineers, software developers, CI/CD & build system experts and calibration engineers. The area of responsibility spans from software design to fine tuning and final optimization before delivery to end customer. Essentially, you will be one of our experts in how to use and work with the inverter software.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Requirement breakdown and interpretation
- Inverter calibration
- Electric Drive unit and inverter/e-machine testing in - Low voltage HIL
- High Voltage HIL
- Electric Drive unit test beds
- E-machine test beds
- Complete vehicle







Who you are

You have a strong will to create the future of electric vehicles - it’s probably fair to call you an EV nerd passionate about solving climate changes. You are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized and driven. You’re not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and a fast learner. You are energized by working in a creative start-up environment, taking action where you see potential and creating structure where needed.

To be successful in this role we believe you have:

- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Data Science or equivalent relevant education
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience from embedded software development
- Good experience from Inverter calibration and testing in different environments
- Matlab Simulink
- Etas Inca
- Vector Canalyzer
- Automotive vehicle diagnostic tools and protocols




Desired skills, not a must:

- Experience of building and commissioning of test properties such as rigs and lab cars
- Engine test-bed control systems (e.g. AVL Puma)
- Python
- Git
- Azure
- C-code debugging tools
