Service and maintenance represent an increasing proportion of operations in this area. Volvo Aero offers an extensive range of services, including maintenance, repair and overhaul of aero engines and industrial gas turbines, sales of spare parts for aero engines and aircraft as well as sales and leasing of complete engines and aircraft. Volvo Aero is facing big changes as both new products are introduced and as when our shops are going through an investment -and upgrade phase regarding new machines equipped with the latest technology. Production with limited personnel (PBB) will soon be the established way of working in most parts of Volvo Aero in order to meet our targets. In order to support these big challenges we are looking for an additional number of CAM Engineers to boost our manufacturing engineer organization. Job Description: As the CAM Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and/or changing existing NC-programs for ordered operation. Together with the rest of the manufacturing engineer team and operators you will have a big impact on Volvo Aero and our future competitiveness and success. Co-operation with different tool suppliers will also be a part of your work. Qualifications: You have a technical education/background, preferably at academic level or equivalent. We require skills and experience in manufacturing engineering and from the production process as well as experience from NC-programming, preferably from UniGraphics. Openness to new ideas and a mindset of "nothing-is-impossible" is needed to face the challenges that are ahead of us. The work includes many contacts so we believe that you are a positive person who is flexible, independent and have an ability to co-operate. Furthermore, we believe that you are a person with a structural way of working. Communication skills in both Swedish and English are required. Location: Trollhättan, Sweden Date of employment: As soon as possible At Volvo Aero we are actively working to establish groupings that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality, etc. Due to current personnel structure we especially welcome female applicants for this position.
