WorkShop is now looking for a Field Experience Specialist for Canon, one of the world's most innovative tech companies and one of our clients. We are looking for someone with a passion for photography, interest in retail and sales, and who loves to create strong relationships.
As a Canon Field Experience Specialist, you are an expert on product, education, and advocacy. Your key responsibility is to help the retail store staff to experience the passion in the same way we do and make sure that Canon products are the first products that come to mind when talking about photography or print.
Job Description
Being an ambassador for Canon and Canon products, you will develop the Canon experience via variety of actions such as store visits, in-store and online trainings, events and fairs as well as demo days. You plan and contact retail partners to execute the activities based on opportunities to increase sell-out, follow-up the impact of your actions and draw conclusions for further development.
You will be also responsible of community management within Canon’s newly launched digital engagement portal, which objective is to drive advocacy within the retail sales personnel. The responsibility of community management includes tasks like fueling and monitoring conversations on social wall, preparing replies to questions, publishing news, developing in-store challenges, and creating local content.
Being the main face for Canon towards retail sales personnel, you are the one ensuring the premium shopping experience for consumers, enthusiasts and professionals interested in Canon products. You represent the Canon brand, are the ears and eyes on the field and support the sell-out.
While working with the Swedish market, you are part of a Nordic Experience Specialist team, supporting Canon within the entire Nordic market.
Examples of key responsibilities:
- Establish a thorough understanding of the designated stores, including operations procedures, merchandising policies, competitive landscape, needs and business opportunities
- Increase knowledge of Canon products in the designated accounts/ stores
- Ensure that Canon products and services are actively promoted in the retail stores
- Develop action plans with the stores to drive sell-out
- Create content and manage the community in the digital engagement portal
- Build strong relationships with managers and key staff within the stores
- Liaise with store manager/ sales staff on current product information and promotional activities as agreed by Canon
- Ensure that in-store promotions are implemented and fully understood by sales staff
We believe that the right person for this role has:
- Strong interest in technology and photography
- Genuine interest in people and good social skills, skills to build relationships and ability to gain trust
- Experience in group trainings and good presentation skills, skills to form a story and bring a message across variety of audiences - digitally and physically, in front of smaller and bigger audiences
- Skills to drive digital community, engage and interact digitally
- Strong time management and planning skills with ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Experience from sales
- Independent and proactive ways of working
- Ability to travel daily between retail stores as well as occasionally across the Nordics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related computer hardware and software.
- Experience from consumer electronics and the Photo/ Print industry
- Fluent in Swedish and in English
- Valid driver’s license
