Your mission: Create consumer car offers that will grow Volvo Cars into the future.
Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey, redefining car ownership and mobility - and we are looking for a new colleague to join our Car Offer team. The team is a key function to support our Consumer Offer & Cars teams with the commercial packaging of offer, price, variants, channel strategy, commercial analytics as well as data privacy related matters. You will work across exciting areas of car development, software sales, accessories, insurance, car service, apps, charging services and more to come.
You will be part of a team that today mainly focuses on the existing car wholesale business and tomorrow will focus fully on all products and services directly offered to our consumers. This change has already begun, and you will be part of the team shaping the further journey ahead.
Success is measured by how well we meet both existing and new consumers with transparent and relevant offers in any channel; online, at retailers or with customer service. Conversion, Volume and Margin are key metrics to optimize for. Your scope is focused on new product offers and any seasonal updates to existing offers.
What you will spend time on
As the position is new it will require a lot of curiosity to define interfaces with other areas and secure collaboration with key stakeholders. You make sure our offers are attractive for our consumers and viable for our business.
You will get to know our consumers and current offers, which will be essential when establishing commercial clarity on what’s next. Examples of activities to drive are:
* You will be defining a car offer roadmap based on your holistic and data-driven take on customer behaviour, business direction and anticipated market trends
* Responsible and accountable for creating car offers with the perfect combination of hardware features
* Creating clarity of commercial packaging; including price, variants and commercial impact, across existing and future range of Consumer Offers.
* Drive pricing and variant work for our current and future car offers
* Be part of assessing new car offer opportunities through commercial analysis.
* Collaborate with Car development, Commercial Operations, Finance and Global Communication
Expectations to who you are

Ideally, you have some experience from working in a larger tech or consumer-focused company, and you understand how to work from hypothesis to test, learn and adapt.
Experience from feature bundling, pricing of subscription-based offers, residual value management as well as the total cost of ownership are competencies we’re looking for.
