Caretaker

Savalen Fjellhotell & SPA is beautifully located by Savalsjøen 740 meters above sea level, 330 km north of Oslo and 200 km south of Trondheim. The hotel complex is more than 7000 m2 and has 700 guest beds connected to Savalen booking. We are a modern mountain hotel with spectacular wellness pool and spa, modern guest rooms of various sizes, apartments, course and conference facilities, banquet facilities, bar and dance hall. In addition, Santa Claus himself lives in his own house in the area!

There are very good outdoor opportunities all year round and the mountain terrain has good opportunities for outdoor activities, such as cycling and hiking. In winter, we have a large network of groomed cross-country trails, and both these and the downhill slopes can be found right outside the door.

Caretaker- It's diserable that you have a trade certificate from a relevant subject area, but experience from similar positions can compensate for the lack of a trade certificate. You work systematically, are technical and solution-oriented. You are good at prioritizing and like to provide service for owners and guests. You do not let yourself be stressed by unforeseen challenges that must be solved quickly, and do all tasks with the same positivity and a twinkle in the eye. You do not mind working weekends. Responsibilities / tasks:
- Perform maintenance and simple repairs
- Supervision of technical installations such as elevators, ventilation, pool, electrical systems, etc.
- Ordinary caretaker tasks and assistance to tenants

Wanted qualifications:
- Practical experience from similar positions/tasks
- Independent, but likes to work in teams
- Concerned about carrying out your tasks cost-effectively and in terms of craftsmanship
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Solution-oriented and has a fantastic service attitude
- Outgoing and positive
- Independent and flexible and enjoys working shifts
- Oral and written very good English skills
- Neat, efficient and structured
- Committed and in a good mood
- Likes to give that little bit extra to provide the best service for our guests
