You have a strong passion for quality, craftsmanship, home furnishing, sense of urgency and you have a good attention for details. We see that you are a trained carpenter and have carpentry experience, preferably from commercial activities. Maybe you have been an exhibition carpenter or have other experiences where you have become an all-round craftsman. You understand the importance of keeping schedules and it is an advantage if you have worked with project management.

At IKEA, we are experts at showing our customers complete home furnishing solutions. We are constantly rebuilding and renewing our different areas in the store.
In your work as a carpenter, you will work throughout all areas of the store with building/moving walls, wallpapering, painting, putting moldings, changing floors and laying tiles. All with the aim of displaying our range in the best way possible. It also needs to be done while considering the people and the environment while still being time and cost efficient. Your work will really contribute to the customers' experience within the store and support the IKEA brand perception, to the many people.
Furthermore, you will:
• Help highlight the IKEA store as the best option for home furnishing in the local market.
• Follow work strategies developed together with colleagues to implement all department actions.
• Reduce the environmental footprint and minimize costs by working consciously with resources and materials, as well as maximizing opportunities to recycle and reuse materials.
• Plan and order materials, to ensure that the right price is set with the aim of increasing efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Work with your colleagues to ensure that the store is always in excellent condition.

The position is a full-time position with a contract measure of 38.25/h per week. Your shifts are scheduled Monday - Friday. Starting date for this position is as soon as possible.
