Airmee is a well-capitalized start-up now looking for an eager and driven Carrier Relations Manager who will manage and develop our relation with Airmee contracted carriers!

Role overview
The role is hands-on but needs an analytical perspective as well as a data-driven approach. This role is critical for our operational side and should appeal to you who enjoys the challenge of merging logistics with state of the art technical platforms. As every second counts in our business, a sense of urgency needs to be at the core of your persona!
Transport operations at Airmee are carried out by external carriers under contract with us. This role is key to secure the quality of our carriers as well as enabling them to meet our quality and productivity targets. You will be responsible for the commercial agreements with our Carriers, ringing from ensuring legal requirements are set and met, that price models and prices are in the right level as well as enabling our carriers to deliver on quality and productivity targets.
Everything you do will have a direct impact on Airmee’s ability to continue to provide the best delivery experience in the world.
Our Stockholm Terminal is located in Kallhäll, we expect you to work from the terminal to truly immerse yourself in our wonderful world of logistics.
So, what will you do?
- Overall responsibility for haulier contracts and development of relationships with our Carriers
- Search and monitor new carriers in Sweden
- Together with colleagues evaluate and implement new technologies for line haul and last mile distribution
- Ensure that planning and scheduling of our carriers is optimal based on various factors such as forecast, historical trends, vehicle capacity and carrier capabilities.
- Define and further develop legal frameworks and standards for all our courier partners
- Implement branding standards and visual appearance
- Together with colleagues establish and drive training opportunities to ensure we work in accordance with the “Airmee Way of Working”
- Develop and implement new processes and routines, learning from best practices, to constantly improve our fleet, cut lead-times and provide a better experience for our courier partners
What we’re looking for?
- You can lead by example and expect nothing but the best from yourself, your colleagues and Carriers.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in working with Carriers
- Experience and strong track record from either logistics companies or startups within logistics (ride-sharing, food delivery, last-mile delivery, etc.)
- Strong team player - acknowledging the fact that we only succeed as a team
- Disciplined organizational skills - you'll need to prioritize and manage tens of ongoing processes and projects simultaneously at a fast pace
- Experience from establishing and developing partner relationships and negotiations
- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through deep analytical thinking
- A high tolerance for calculated risk and constant change and a tremendous drive to achieve and inspire
- Get stuff done attitude: you are not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty
- Fluent in Swedish and English
