We are building up Volvo Cars online sales capabilities and driving the shift towards direct consumer sales. Our aim is clear – to provide customers with modern, flexible and hassle-free ways to own a car, whether through a Care by Volvo subscription, lease, loan or cash. By that, shaping the future of the automotive industry.
For the development of direct offers - we will strengthen the team with a business owner for our financial- and car ownership offers. This role reports to the Head of Financial- and Car Ownership offers.
Your mission
Volvo Cars is live with online sales in Germany, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom and Sweden. Our portfolio of offers includes monthly subscriptions and one-time cash payments for the car of your choice. Your mission in this role is to maximize the customer- and commercial value of offers within your area of responsibility. You will be responsible for creating, launching and continuously improving our direct offers by combing terms, services and the car itself. You will be involved in flipping markets towards 100% direct and online, whilst work on incremental improvements in other direct markets.
To ensure a strong value proposition you will operate across the entire customer journey. Leveraging performance data and analytics to identify issues and improvements, securing senior management buy-in when needed and oversee execution and launches of new or improved offers. This role includes being commercially responsible for execution of end-to-end new launches and improvements of offers.
You will closely collaborate with our marketing teams, digital product teams and local country managers. Leveraging the input from experts in different fields – for example pricing and legal.

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
• Strong business acumen
• Extensive experience of Product- or Offer ownership with tangible results.
• Practical experience of agile working methods, digital development and e-commerce or digital consumer services.
• Previous leadership experience via direct reports or project team
• Excellent communication skills in English, second language is considered a merit
• M.Sc. in Business or Engineering and strong academic track record
