Acquired by Epidemic Sound in 2022, A-P Records work with musicians to create bespoke music that soundtrack people’s lives. Our catalog of 10.000 tracks is growing fast and we’re now looking for a Catalog Manager with a background in digital distribution, preferably with product/software development experience, to work with our team of music creators.
We are now looking for a Catalog Manager to join our team.
What you'll do
As a Catalog Manager, you will be responsible for the overall distribution and maintenance of our music to all DSPs we supply our catalog to and will make sure that all products are processed, packaged, and released correctly and compliant to our industry partners’ requirements. You will also be responsible for making sure that all information regarding our catalog is accurate and accessible for the rest of the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing all creative and technical metadata, assuring that AP Records follows standard industry practices for all DSPs we supply our catalog to;
- Managing the distribution and withdrawal of AP Records releases to worldwide DSPs, both direct and aggregated (i.e. via applicable vendors);
- Ensure and enforce technical content delivery enablement and distribution fulfillment end-to-end digital supply chain;
- React to and coordinate troubleshooting of ad-hoc glitches, queries, and admin requests pertaining to AP Records catalog;
- Work on improving our catalog management workflows, including software development;
- Other administrative tasks such as categorizing AP Records catalog in internal playlists, communicating release information to creators etc;
What we are looking for
- Experience working in digital production, and preferably experience within the world of digital supply chain.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to initiate and drive improvements.
- Knowledge of standard audio and image formats.
- Strong technical skills, and experience of Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to identify improvements to current working methods and systems and implement change.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure as well as maintaining a professional manner.
- Fluent in English.
You have a proven track record of at least 2 years working within the music and creative industries in a similar role, preferably with experience from working in content management systems. Previous experience in music distribution, streaming platforms, record labels, publishers, music tech, production companies etc. is a big plus.
