Category Account Manager - Logistics

We are looking for a business driven Strategic Purchaser within category Logistics that have experience of executing and delivering results and enjoys leading and interacting with stakeholders and suppliers.

Your role

You will be responsible for executing cross-functional sourcing projects within the category in order to improve performance, compliance and cost reduction.

In your role you will create and develop commercial relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

The main tasks are:

* Set, develop and execute category- and sub category strategies
* Perform and lead sourcing projects
* Responsible of Supplier Governance and Contracts driving cost reduction, compliance and performance improvements.
* Lead collaboration and communication with crossfunctional teams
* Lead the ways of working with improvements


Your profile

Required skills:

* A few years of experience of Indirect Procurement within category Logistics
* Relevant Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
* Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Business- and performance driven
* A holistic approach focusing on finding solutions in challenging situations.
* Your curious and analytical set of mind enables you to challenge the existing setup.

Desired skills:

* Relevant Master degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
* Several years of purchasing experience within other categories within Indirect Procurement
*

Interest in continues improvements and digitalisation
*

Experience of leading commercial teams

The team you will join consists primarly of buyers and experts within areas such as Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Procure to Pay, Legal, Business analysts, PM&T and Business Solution Mangament. You will work with 41 experienced colleugues, whereas 25 are located in Linköping.
