The Interior Cockpit Team is now searching for a Category Buyer who is genuinely interested in business optimization, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration as well as personal and team development. 
You want to make a difference for the team and the company in everything you do. You are proactive, inclusive, persuasive, and driven. You see the whole picture while understanding the importance of attention to detail.
You contribute to creating the global strategy for your area and execute accordingly, aiming to develop a balanced base of financially healthy, technically competent, and commercially competitive suppliers that see Volvo as their preferred customer. 
You own and drive your business throughout the life cycle in close collaboration with your local and global buyer colleagues, GCM, and a multitude of stakeholders throughout Volvo Cars and your suppliers. 
You enjoy working in a dynamic and often challenging environment with highly motivated and supportive colleagues who all strive to make a difference.

Do you fit the profile?

As a Category Buyer, you benefit from having a Bachelor's degree or similar within economics or administration, having an analytical and structured mindset, and having negotiation and project leadership experience. 
Previous experience from DM Purchasing within Volvo is preferred. 
You also have a strong business acumen combined with high integrity and can prioritize your own work and always deliver on time.
Supplier relations are important, where your excellent communication skills, is a great ability. Daily negotiation is also one of your strongest areas.
