ValueOne is looking for an experienced Category Buyer within purchasing of software and electronics for a 12 month consultant assignment at a manufacturing company on Gothenburg. The assignment is to be appointed early January 2023.
The role
As Category Manager you will lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects in the software and electronics area. This includes preparation, implementation, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management.
Main tasks:
Support, develop and implement supplier strategies.
Create and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Perform market analysis.
Prioritize and identify optimal negotiation tactic.
Handle business in current production.
Experience and competencies
To succeed in this role, you have a Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent) as well as 2-5 years of experience from commercial and/or engineering work including commercial negotiations and legal knowledge. We expect you to be fluent in English, orally and in writing. Swedish is advantageous. Furthermore, strong negotiation and relationship building skills are required as well as a commercial and result driven mind set.
