What´s in it for you
In this role, you will lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects in the Body Function Electronics area, specifically control units and sensors. This includes preparation, implementation, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management.
You will support, develop and implement supplier strategies, create and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
You enjoy working proactively with key stakeholders to understand your product / function, its market, delivery base and potential innovation, to find ways to increase the value of Volvo Cars, including cost, quality and sustainability.
The role performs market analysis, prioritization and identification of optimal negotiation tactics as well as handling business in current production.
As a persona, you need to dare to question the status quo or specific paths with stakeholders, suppliers, people; and work proactively to build better understanding and work for common solutions.

To succeed in this role, you have a Business or Technical University degree (or equivalent).
You have experience from Commercial and/or Engineering work (3-8 year) , preferably within electronics or sw including commercial negotiations and legal knowledge.
You also have a strong business acumen combined with high integrity and can prioritize your own work and always delivery on time.
Core System & AD Category is considered as a global commodity, so excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English is a requirement and additional languages like Mandarin, Swedish is advantageous.
Supplier relations are important, where your excellent communication skills, is a great ability. Daily negotiation is also one of your strongest area.
