Category Buyer
The Interior Team is now searching for a consultant for a Category Buyer position. The candidate needs to be genuinely interested in business optimization, problem solving, cross functional collaboration as well as personal and team development.
You want to make a difference for the team and the company in everything you do. You are proactive, inclusive, persuasive, humble and driven. You strive to see the whole picture while understanding the importance of attention to detail.
You own and drive your business in close collaboration with your local and global buyer colleagues, Global Category Manager and a multitude of stakeholders throughout the company and at your suppliers.
Here are some examples of what might be within your area of responsibility: Negotiation of cost consequences connected to technical changes, handling of supplier capacity constraints, supplier financial claim handling, system updates and administration, piece price gap analysis and negotiation to bring cost down in running production, handling meetings with internal and external stakeholders to solve any problems that might arise during project or running business.

As a Category Buyer you benefit from having a Bachelor degree or similar within economics, administration or technology. You need to have an analytical and structured mindset and good planning, prioritization and communication skills. It is very useful to have experience from negotiation planning and execution as well as project leadership.
Previous experience from DM Purchasing within our clients company is preferred.
