Hedin Mobility Group is one of Europe's largest privately owned mobility providers. Hedin Mobility Group is a seller of new and used passenger, transport, and trucks as well as service market services to both private and corporate customers. The Group employs more than 7,500 people and has approximately 260 facilities in Europe. The Group operates in thirteen countries. Hedin Mobility Group represents approximately 45 brands and is an importer/distributor for a number of brands in several European markets.
The Group's operations also include wholesale operations in tyres and spare parts, the car rental company Mabi MobilityAB, the private leasing company Car to Go Sweden AB, the company Unifleet AB and co-ownership in Pendragon PLC and iMove AS.
We are now looking for a Category Development Manager, Indirectwho will strategically develop our global sourcing.

Responsibilities
As Category Development Manager, you are expected to develop global purchasing within Hedin Mobility Group by establishing long-term strategic plans for sourcing and supplier development, identifying synergies across national borders, leading the implementation of the global purchasing strategy together with the rest of the organization and being part of Hedin Mobility Group's management team for purchasing.
In the role, you define and implement the strategic plan for your area together with the rest of the organization, you lead global purchasing projects, participate in negotiations with strategic suppliers, and define standards for the Group for the products in your area.
You have the global, strategic responsibility for your field and the work involves extensive leadership with a very high opportunity to influence and make decisions. You will also have a large variety of contacts both internally and externally.
The role includes the following main tasks:
in close collaboration with internal and external partners develop and define the strategic plan for sourcing- and supplier development
lead the implementation of the strategic plan in line with agreed goals and KPIs
have a continuous close dialogue with other partners within the Group to identify and act on new opportunities or risks
develop internal standards for services and other products within your area of responsibility
secure the overall best global purchase for Hedin Mobility Group from all aspects such as cost, quality, availability, sustainability, social responsibility and more
negotiate and finalize global framework agreements, contracts and other agreements with suppliers and partners
secure long-term relations with our partners and continuously develop our joint business and business relationships
together with the organization, follow up on performance, suppliers, agreements and other relevant parameters including external factors and address any deviations, risks or opportunities
lead global purchasing processes, RFx and other sourcing projects
as part of the global management team for purchasing lead and develop all parts of Hedin Mobility Group's purchasing, purchasing activities and purchasing processes.
The position is based in our new head office, which is located in Mölndal and involves travel to our facilities in the Nordic region and Europe.You will report to the Global Procurement Director for Hedin Mobility Group.
Who are you?
We are looking for you with a relevant college / university education or equivalent competenceinfinance, purchasing, supply chain or similar and several years of experience in strategic purchasing in a leading role. It is meritorious if you have experience in category-driven purchasing in some specific areas, such as IT, transport and logistics, real estate and constructionIt is also an advantage if you have knowledge and experience from international business as well as relevant business- and contract law.
As a person, you have a strong business drive, passion for developing business and relationships and the ability to create results. You are driven and you define your own agenda in collaboration with colleagues and partners around you. You have a good business understanding and with your leadership experience you can motivate and include others with a focus on long-term goals. In your way of working, you are unpretentious and responsive but also clear in your communication. You can analyze and develop complex relationships and you have the ability to take decisions. You enjoy being part of a global team and working closely together with others.
Fluency in English, in both writing and speech, is a requirement. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
