About the team
As part of the HQ Technical Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that fit and sizing are as per GANT product direction and consistent across all suppliers. The Technical Team acts as the primary liaison between GANT and the suppliers on all related fit and sizing topics.
Our Technical team is growing so we are hiring two new members of our team. These positions report to our Head of Technical, Garment Technology.
Responsibilities
Conduct Fit Meetings for new styles/silhouettes
Create measurement charts or patterns for new styles/silhouettes
Sample measurement and evaluation against suppliers' measurements
Communicate fit comments to the supplier
Create, review and approve graded measurement charts
Advise suppliers of fit/pattern best practices
Support the sealing process and approve the Green seal for new styles
Handover Green Seal to QC for Gold Sealing
Work on Fit Block Library
Support 3D Digital implementation

Your skills
10+ years experience in a similar role for a European retailer or suppliers
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Clear working knowledge of garment construction and the impact on fit
Proven knowledge of Patterns and grading
A passion for fit together with knowledge of current trends
A team player who can work collaboratively across departments
Proven experience working with Suppliers Pattern rooms and leading fitting/pattern requests
IT skills with strong Excel and, PLM and Lectra experience is a plus
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
