As a Category Manager you will be a part of our fantastic Indirect Procurement team located in Sweden and China. We have a diverse team, and you will meet lots of caring and collaborative people from different backgrounds. Indirect Procurement (IDP) is responsible for procurement of all non-production materials and services. The Category Manager position is a challenging and developing role where you together with the category team and stakeholders will contribute to create world class powertrain solutions. Your main categories of responsibility will be Facility Management and Spare parts & Consumables.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ purchasing experience

- Fluent in English, written and spoken

- You are motivated to find new solutions and opportunities and dare to challenge status quo with our suppliers and our stakeholders

- Can manage parallel projects and see the whole picture of a business case and are a strong team player who are honest and actively work with self-development

- You like challenges and are focused on setting and reaching goals

- Knowledge and experience of Construction Law (e.g. AB 04 & ABT 06) is an advantage

Your role at Aurobay

- Strategy / Procurement Deliveries Execution: Accountable for Procurement end-to end deliveries for the category team (Strategy, Sourcing, Supplier portfolio, Running production)

- Intake and Backlog management: Own, prioritize and secure the Procurement deliveries by the global category team to maximize the business value through the whole lifecycle.

- Category Team Facilitation: Lead planning events, remove impediments and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration and workload sharing to enable the most effective work delivery by the category teams.

- Continuous Improvement: Review existing operations and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered
