Category Manager
Are you an analytical Category Manager with experience within in FMCG? Do you want to work in a family own company yet with international width?
Barilla is now looking for a Category Manager to join the Category team based in Stockholm to cover for a parental leave. It is a full-time temporary position that will be appointed as soon as possible and ends in 1st of May 2024.
As a Category Manager, you will work together both with internal departments such as KAM, Trade, Finance and the Sales Force as well as with external customers as an expert to ensure that Barilla is seen as the preferred category partner, allowing the categories to grow. You are comfortable in Nielsen and to Analyze market data at customer and category level.
Key Accountabilities
• Prepare and present customer presentations to central customers
• Prepare the analysis of the category performance as well as our performance and recommend appropriate actions to drive profitable growth
• Recommend and execute category and shopper studies and present those to central customers
• Work with central planograms, come up with recommendations for our central customers as well as our sales force
• Hold engaging presentations of all category findings/analysis internally as well as during our Sales conferences to our Sales force
About you
You have an academic background and experience from category projects within the FMCG business. You have at least 3 years of experience and excellent knowledge of Swedish Retail. You have excellent skills in Swedish and English, and you are an expert user of all Microsoft office tools as well as AC Nielsen databases or equivalent.
As a person we expect you to be open-minded and flexible but at the same time analytical and structured in your way of working. We are looking for a person with lots of energy who places high value in personal relations, enjoys meeting with customers and building on professional networks.
