Job Summary

We are looking for a Category Manager who will be responsible to define, develop and deploy category growth strategy cross the value chain and an actionable journey to support customers’ needs as well as internal stakeholders like Packaging Solutions, Processing, Services, Market Companies, Sales Management, D&T and the ELT.
This is a permanent role and it will report to the Marketing Services Director APAC. The preferred location of the role is Modena, Italy and it requires approx. 25% travel.
What you will do
Drive holistic Category Management & Analysis across businesses. Design and execute on category journey, which covers consumer needs, category trends, category key growth initiatives and 3-year action plans.
Drive category foresight activities. Identify actionable long-term opportunities to be ahead of the wave. Validate opportunities with pilot market and roll out with schedule through markets.
Build sales play per responsible categories by identifying consumer needs, category growth potential and End to End solutions by working with different business area, which supports strategic initiatives in MGR (market growth roadmap).
Build the category knowledge bank of information and launch cases, from where markets and customers can be inspired by/become the reference point.
Deliver category growth presentations to customers in workshops, conferences, CIC visits in support of market companies and account teams to establish Tetra Pak expertise and role as consultative partner.
Collaborate and facilitate cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and opportunities.
We believe you have
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or advertising, MBA or equivalent titles will be considered a plus. You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
You have 5-7 years’ experience in marketing or product management. Market company experience is considered a plus.
As a person you have good communication and influencing skills, a well-rounded business outlook and an excellent value chain expertise. As a successful candidate you have strong analytical and strategic skills with high personal drive and result orientation. You are able to create strong professional network at different levels and you are flexible to manage different requests of key stakeholders.
