About this opportunity

Develop & Drive and Implement Category Strategy for Installation Material Accessories and Mounting Support, securing a category supplier base that supports current and future business needs (BA & MA). Successful achievement of implemented Strategy enables accurate and balanced supplier / partner risk, cost and demand management whilst securing quality and compliance demands.

Develop Category Strategy

Compiling External & Internal Information,
Analyzing the Category & Suppliers’ market
Working very closely to PDU to get the needs and include in strategy.
Building category strategy and driving the strategy during execution.


Supplier Base Management

Driving the global RFPs together with SSMs.
Handling & Supervising RFPs in MAs to obtain the best commercial conditions and best quality.
Identifying suppliers and activating the Procurement Plan.
Driving Supplier Scouting globally for IM Accessories & Mounting Support Category.
Acquiring existing supplier evaluation & evaluating new suppliers
Making sure all suppliers have proper classification and completed TPM & Due diligence


Optimize Category performance

Being a perfect team player with SSMs (Strategic Sourcing Managers) to boost the performance
Defining, communicating and leading with clear timelines, and targets towards stakeholders and SSMs.
Be a role model to SSMs.
Create cost effective category solutions and business models
Making sure that results achieved timely as per KPIs for the Accessories & Mounting Support Category.


Compliance & Responsible Sourcing

Ensuring that the selection of suppliers and sourcing agreements reflect the corporate policies, directives and Ericsson supplier requirements
Securing and making sure that all suppliers in category went through proper supplier screening, self-assessment and/or onsite audit requirements.
Securing and making sure that appropriate actions taken for identified non-compliance findings
Follow-up and secure compliance during supplier lifecycle for whole Accessories & Mounting Support Category.


Leadership & development

Translate and communicate BA and Ericsson strategies into local plans
Provide mentoring Strategic Sourcing Managers
Ensure compliance with security requirements
Drive strategy development
Manage Stakeholder issues & business continuity


Requirements

Education: Having Engineering or Business Administration degree.
Min years of experience: Min 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in Technical Procurement.
Domain experience: Having experience/expertise/understanding Ericsson Networks Solutions and Site solution requirements.
Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge: Having experience on category strategy creation and implementation.
Change & Improvement Management Skills: Having experience in leading of change programs like improving efficiency; like new tool & process introduction, implementing new ways of working etc.
Commercial Acumen & Skills: Understanding business requirements in category, supporting growth of company by providing best commercial deals from TCO perspective. Having knowledge on corporate finance, TCO and e2e analysis of commercials.
Local Laws & Regulation Knowledge: Having knowledge on trade laws and regulations, contract T&Cs, liabilities.
Market Insight: Having good market insight on raw materials (steel, aluminum, plastics accessories etc.), production cost and logistics adders, and finished products in category.
Negotiation Skills : Being an active category member, needs extensive experience on negotiation with suppliers.
