Join our team
Indirect Strategic Sourcing deliver services within Epiroc and we are now looking for two Category Managers with the mission and ambition to develop and maintain the supplier base within a given category. This is a unique opportunity to be an important part of our team! Our team is responsible for the main categories Consultation Services, Facility Management, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation), Professional Services and Marketing. We collaborate with colleagues across Epiroc’s divisions in both smaller assignments and in extensive projects.
You mission
Within this role you will support the implementation of the Epiroc sourcing strategy to achieve higher efficiency level and optimized TCO. You will maintain and develop the sourcing strategy within the category and contribute to the sourcing process development. You will have the opportunity to run procurement projects and represent Sourcing as subproject leader in other Epiroc projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for commercial and contractual negotiations and risk mitigation. Supplier management and contract compliance will also be part of the work. You will participate in local/regional/national activities but also global projects may be considered.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you are result-oriented, structured and independent with an openness to changes along with a proactive approach. You have a strong personal drive and extensive analytical skills. In addition, you are a cooperative team member with great interpersonal and communication skills. Your work is influenced by your innovative mindset and customer focus.
You have a University degree or other equivalent education along with at least three years of experience from Indirect strategic sourcing. We believe you have an understanding of supply chain processes. Experience from project management and experience from public procurement is meritorious. Since your work includes many contacts, global and national, it is required that your Swedish and English skills, verbal and written, are fluent. This role includes regular travels between different locations in Sweden why it’s necessary that you hold a driver’s license.
Location and travel
At start this positon will be located in Örebro, Sweden but this will be flexible to Fagersta and Kalmar, depending on where you live. Regardless, travels to the other locations will be required.
