We are looking for a clear, visible, confident and ambitious candidate with high potential to assume the role of Category Manager for Internal Logistics in our global Sourcing team. Your location will be Sweden, Finland, Estonia or any other our locations in Stora Enso function. You will be working in the Sourcing and Logistics unit and reporting to the Senior Vice President, Sourcing Wood Products & Categories.

As a Category Manager you will be responsible to formulate and execute strategies for all services and products and in the respective categories in the area of responsibility for all countries in scope. You have a clear focus to deliver lower cost for the required quality and service. Based on the strategies you secure that yearly procurement plans are established and accomplished with the available internal resources in order to make the best use of the existing supplier agreements.
Part of the position is also a development of the existing and future supplier base, which includes pre-qualifications in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct and continuous improvement efforts in close collaboration with selected key suppliers. You will be a Supplier Account Manager (SAM) for assigned suppliers and run supplier development for contracted suppliers with focus to make the best use of existing agreements and drive continuous improvement. And as a part of the company innovation you will also scout the market for new innovations & technologies within the Category and introduce these to internal partners.

Qualifications
Are you the one? In order to succeed in this role, you have +5 years working experience in international sourcing. Your proficiency is based on a master’s degree or in equivalent experience. You have a good knowledge of contract law and strategic sourcing practices. Experience in negotiating complex agreements with suppliers is mandatory for the position.

·        Clear: Easily communicates in all types of situations and makes people feel listened to. Builds trust and openness by understanding current business and standard methodology.
You are team-worker with a highly structured and detailed way of working with a good eye for business; you work proactively and result-oriented. You are an outstanding communicator with excellent negotiation skills, and you communicate fluently in English and in Finnish or Swedish. You have shown financial understanding (total cost of ownership) with the ability to perform both on a strategic planning level as well as in executing the defined long-term plans efficiently. This position requires travelling.
