YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role as Category Manager you will steer one of our SDA product areas and optimize it regarding fulfillment of market shares, turnover and profitability targets. You will be responsible for ensuring the daily business success, prepare product launches and be the go-to person for category specific topics. The role is responsible for defining budget, coordinate category-specific marketing and sales activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You will be in close contact with head quarter in Germany and Sales teams, supply chain and marketing department in the region.

You will report to Head of Category Management. The office is located in Solna.

Work tasks


• Create, communicate, implement and maintain the category strategy
• Close cooperation with headquarters in local strategy formulation
• Set, manage and optimize the product portfolio and plan product launches
• Support organization with product and market knowledge
• Translate product text from English and proof reading of marketing material.
• Contribute in strategic important customer meetings and channel management
• Together with marketing department develop communication and media strategies
• Monitor business KPI’s to ensure that business plan target are reached

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role and/or experience from retail. If you have an understanding for as well as experience within media, it is an advantage. An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership will be needed.

You have relevant post-secondary education preferably within marketing and/or economics.

A high-level skill in Microsoft Office and especially Excel and PowerPoint is necessary. You are fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written.
