You will be part of Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have a global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require water cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus.

Take on an exciting challenge in a global company with focus on the development and manufacture of cooling system solutions for both power transmission and new exciting areas that are driven by the transformation into a fossil-free society. Cooling Systems in Landskrona is a market-leading supplier with customers all over the world. We are expanding our business and need to strengthen our unit with a driven Category Manger on Strategic Sourcing.
Your responsibilities
Ensure the Category sourcing performance targets are achieved
Secure identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability)
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and renews price lists, terms and conditions
Manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts
Leverage the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing process, implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements
Category Manager for machinery items such as Instruments, Valves, Pumps, Motors, heat exchangers etc.

Your background
As a successful candidate you have 3-5 years of experience as Category Manager/Sourcing in Industry
Knowledge and experience from Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation Management as well as Contract Management
Great interest of quality and production is an advantage for you in this role.
We value both your leadership and communication skills, your technical and social skills as well as your ability to work together with others. Being perceptive to colleagues and customers is natural to you.
You are competent in ERP and SAP systems.
Proficiency in English and Swedish is a requirement both written and spoken.
