Tasks and role overview:
As Category Manager for Consumables & Accessories for our Food Preparation, Food Preservation, SDA and Anova products, you will:
Develop product, business, and marketing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Deliver global C&A products and platforms, building strong networks with stakeholders to ensure technological feasibility & commercial execution.
Create the mid-and long-term innovation roadmap for consumables and accessories in all taste categories.
Lead a small category team to analyze market, consumer, professional, and competitive data, translating them into winning product solutions.
Create and align budgets for the category, PMO, R&D, and content creation, achieving stakeholder alignment and ensuring delivery within timelines.
Contribute to the establishment of completely new processes – constantly challenging and improving the status quo and way of working.
Deliver new products with exciting commercial toolkit and follow up on the commercial performance in close collaboration with controllers & sales organizations.
Identify opportunities for complexity reduction and cost-out, initiating actions to reduce SKU listings and product cost-out investigations.
Skills and Knowledge:
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking abilities and influencing skills.
Demonstrated experience in category management.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insightful conclusions and make data-driven decisions.
Basic engineering knowledge and ability to read drawings/3D sketches to communicate with R&D, industrial design, and manufacturing units is a plus.
Prior experience in the consumer goods / household appliances / food industry, innovation management, proven track record of launching successful global product platforms & P&L management.
Experience in the internal sales process and introduction of new products
Prior team and project leadership experience, preferably in an international environment.
Passion for cooking, food & sustainable eating trends
Fluent proficiency in English.
