We are currently looking for a Category Marketing Lead for an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity, a contract starting as soon as possible and has a two-year contract with a great possibility for an extension.

About the role:
As a Category Marketing Lead, you are the owner of communication to end consumers and activations.
You will be responsible for consumer and category insights and strategy in addition to Go To Market planning for the Nordic market. This includes execution for product launches and always-on communication to increase consumer demand for Samsung products within your territory.
The overall objective is to grow brand preference, create desire and provide concept that can be developed further by the retail function to drive sell out of the product categories in the Nordic to help Samsung become the most innovative and consumer focused brand in the Nordic region.
You will act as the link between Samsung HQ, Nordic marketing department, local Channel marketing and Sales functions to initiate and implement category marketing activities, including Go To Market project management together with rest of the team, and focusing on retail presence, ATL/BTL campaigns and offline and online initiatives within both Samsung´s own and Samsung´s partners´ platforms.
Your profile:
Your key Accountabilities:
• Driving brand awareness and brand preference.
• Responsible for the development of full year ATL marketing roadmap for all Nordic markets for your products.
• Responsible for setting objective and KPIs, budget management, resource planning, concept development, execution and follow-up of the activities carried out.
• Lead and be responsible for the Go-To-Market process during product launches.
• Briefing and project management of creative-, media- and action marketing agencies within Samsung´s network and follow-up on the activities and investments on a regular basis.
• Responsible for developing messaging for focus products within your category, in co-operation with the Marketing Manager, PR Officer and PM.
• In charge of setting and keeping a running Annual Marketing Plan available for all stakeholders
• Responsible to report, present and follow up on campaigns together with agencies and marketing analyst.
• Lead the execution and activation of the full annual Nordic marketing plan, with solid ROI throughout.
• Establish strong marketing processes and smooth collaboration with all teams within Samsung for maximum impact
• Close collaboration with sales management to ensure marketing is continuously aligned with business development and needs
Qualifications Required:
• University degree, preferably with a major in Marketing
• MS Office, mainly Excel & PPT
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbally
Experience, skills & Attributes:
• Relevant Academic Education. Preferably with a major in Marketing
• Minimum 3 years of strategic marketing experience from a similar role, preferably Brand Manager
• Experience in working with external agencies, both creative and media agencies
• Experience from leading internal cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of experience from working with marketing strategy, product launches, managing advertising and media agencies and executing branded consumer campaigns
• A strong record of integrated marketing and digital activation and proven track record of identifying and applying consumer insights successfully
• Project management excellence
• Results & performance drive, with a passion for marketing effectiveness
• Excellent presentation skills and experience from working with MS Office, Excel and PPT
• Experience from FMCG or Retail is a plus
• Fluent in English and Swedish both oral and written
