THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Category Merchandising Manager with a passion for numbers. This is an opportunity to develop and work with analysis, contribute with sales insights, and help us grow our online presence.
You will join our Merchandising team at Boozt where we are responsible for sales forecasting, stock management, and strategic decisions. As a Category Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for your own area working alongside buying, while also overseeing a combined area within the group. You will lead and motivate your team but also develop the department forward and act on business opportunities that arise. Our goal is to achieve optimal stock performance and continue sales growth of our Nordic Department Store, and there you will be an important player in succeeding in this. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Analyze and forecast performance, stock, and sell-through in order to maximize commercial opportunities and identify risks
Lead the team and ensure the development and motivation of staff
Optimize turnover and profit through carefully conducted analysis on assigned area
Take action on missed opportunities in the season as well as clear non-performing styles
Work closely with marketing to ensure strong seasonal campaigns and promotions
Calculate and forecast optimal buying budgets for the season
Support the buying efforts and handle buying analysis for your assigned category to ensure that the right selection of products is available on site
Actively take part in planning and implementing the strategy for Buying & Merchandising
Builds strong working relationships internally as well as externally



YOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role you are a numbers-oriented, analytical, detail-oriented person with a good structure in your work. Your approach to problem-solving is proactive and innovative. You are business-minded and have the drive to make improvements. You are also a responsible and independent team player with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business & Accounting, or other related areas
2-3 years of experience in merchandising, controlling, or a similar function is preferred
E-commerce or retail experience is a plus
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong BI and Excel skills using the VLOOKUP function and pivot tables
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Fluent in English since this is our corporate language (only applications in English will be considered)
