Introduction and Overview
The market for Over the Counter (OTC) products is undergoing a huge change these years. Sales channel dynamic opportunities and the possibilities for positive changes is high. You will have the possibility to craft the future for selling OTC products in Sweden. Your focus is on the full OTC category with most of the work within the"Quit Smoking"-category, where our Nicorette Brand is the clear leader!

Category & Shopper Manager
As Category Manager you will deliver insight-based shopper innovations as well as fundamental category initiatives together with priority customers on key needs, crafting long-term business relationships and ensuring category growth. Actively support and empower the organization to define commercial purpose and objectives, in addition to deploy relevant learnings to the organization to drive business with all other customers forward.
Main responsibilities:
* Identify relevant areas for category growth and translate key opportunities into strategy
* Lead local agenda to ensure all commercial insights are transformed into a relevant overview, in order to uncover unmet category and shopper needs
* Position J&J as the go-to company and inspiring leader in preferred categories by developing category growth stories for trade meetings together with Key Account - and Commercial Activation Managers
* Add value to key customers and grow their categories beyond J&J brands, by applying objective category growth approach
* Drive joint business planning and build outstanding execution concepts in cooperation with other internal departments
* Prepare and present category execution at customer headquarter level and be able to hold meetings with key stakeholders
* Plan and manage in-store trials projects and develop Activation Manuals for sales force to ensure strong in-store execution
* Develop and update monthly sales- and market share reports
* Plan, manage and supervise allocated budget utilizing available financial tools
Qualifications
* 3-5 years' experience working as Category Manager, Shopper Marketing Manager or in similar role at a retailer
* Experience / high understanding of the Category Management process
* Proven track record of successful category projects from start to finish
* Experience with working in a matrix organization
* Swedish language and very good English skills, both spoken and written
* Solid analytical thinking capabilities
* Customer focused and love being a standout team member
* Well-structured, focused and used to setting clear priorities
* Passionate about the consumer and shopper insights and how to generate insights to actio
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Be the go-to person and sparring for both Key Account Manager and Brand Activation before presenting to customers
* Present great category plans that gets implemented at customer level
* Be generous about category knowledge to your colleagues in the Nordics
