CDT Operation field responsible
Service Office for Distribution based in Älmhult
This is a temporary position until January 2015 with a possibility to prolong it.
We are looking for an Operational field responsible who will reach excellence in running daily Operation within Customer Delivery Transport. You will execute the daily operation within defined geographical region in order to reach settled and agreed targets for all performance indicators (quality, precision & cost) with Customer in focus.
Your main assignment will be to:
Meet set target within following areas: Availability/Precision, Lead time, Loss/damages and Cost within defined geographical region
Plan your operation. To receive forecast, set delivery matrix and capacity roof.
To execute your operation. Act on daily operational issues and support Customer contact, Stores, CDC, CDOS and our Carriers in transport related issues.
To be responsible for system administration to perform daily operations, e.g. iCap, DFP, invoice control and follow ups
Support the follow-up of agreed/signed contract.
Be the main speaking partner for LSC within my geographical regions and concerned parties, as Retail Logistics, ISL Mgr. Execute the implementation of new working methods, systems and contracts within defined geographical region.
To succeed in this role we think that you have proven experience from contract management. You have good knowledge and understanding of the transport/customer delivery industry and knowledge of the legislations/regulations governing the transport industry. You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of MS Office.
As a person you are customer, result and goal oriented with a high drive. You are able to take initiative and you have a problem solving approach. It is also important that you have the ability to handle various types of tasks under time pressure. You like teamwork and realize the importance of communication.

We have five distribution centers located in United Kingdom (Doncaster), Sweden (Älmhult and Torsvik), Poland (Jarosty) and Russia (Esipovo). In Torsvik and Peterborough we also have customer distribution centers (CDC) which deliver IKEA products directly to the customers in the Nordic countries, UK and Ireland.
