As a cell biologist, you will characterize drug candidates using cell and molecular biology. You will work in a team with highly experienced members in both the US and Sweden.

Duties
Characterize drug candidates using cell and molecular biology
Laboratory work including both routine work and reprioritization of tasks based on the projects’ needs
Assist the scientists in their laboratory work (mainly in vitro)
Some administrative assignments such as purchasing, and organization of the laboratory may be included.
Qualifications / Skills
As a cell biologist at Pretzel, your work will be extremely important, as the backbone of the laboratory business is in Gothenburg. You are very committed and are driven by challenges, focusing on the result. To thrive, it is also important that you have a broad competence and enjoy learning new things, as you will be part of a range of complex projects.
We would like you to have:
A Bachelor/Master's degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, biomedical analysis, or a laboratory engineering degree from a technical college.
Corresponding in-depth knowledge of cell, molecular, and biochemical biology techniques from professional experience, preferably linked to drug development.
1-3 years of experience in cell culture
Good laboratory skills
Basic understanding of statistics
Communication in English (both verbal and written) is necessary as you will work in a multicultural environment within a global company.
Various technical aids are important work tools in this role and the requirement for daily delivery means that you must be confident working with computers and systems.
Experience of working in Pharma/MedTech is a bonus.
