We are looking for an experienced Validation Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our Technology Quality Validation Development team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing local validation team and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
With your exhaustive experience in battery testing, you will play an integral role in the validation and qualification of our safe, long-lasting, high-performance and battery cells. This includes taking the responsibility for project deliveries and report to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also work with a broad perspective from high-level prerequisites and concept development in the early phases to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery.
About the team You will be joining a network of Quality Technology Validation Development experts based in Skellefteå.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyse and share test results with various stakeholders
Iterate on testing methodologies from cell design phase and apply in a production setting
Ensure delivery of the project activities
Plan, organize, direct and follow up on project-related testing activities
Support set up of test facilities
Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to aid and improve business and operational performance.
Contribute within a cross functional team to evaluate test results, draw conclusions and share with stakeholders
Create and validate FAT/SAT test items

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
BSc in e.g., Electrochemical/Mechatronic/Physics/Material/Electrical engineering
MSc or above degree within relevant field or comparable work experience would be a plus
5+ years' experience in automotive industry
Experienced in validation methods
Excellent knowledge of Data analysis and presentation
Knowledgeable in test design and setup
Experience with Li-ion Cell Lifetime and Performance testing and/or Safety and Environmental testing
Basic understanding of Li-ion battery materials, production, characterization and electrochemical evaluation
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Strong organization skills and used to manage a range of activities simultaneously
Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines
