VBN produces unique metal materials. We also say that we work in the world’s most modern steel plant. We develop new materials and the corresponding Additive Manufacturing (“3D printing”) processes with remarkable results. With our unique group of Vibenite® materials, we can produce various components or tools in near-net-shape to customers who wish to reduce wear, who need complex shapes or more efficient production. On top of it all, VBN’s patented technology reduces environmental impact with around 90%. In 2017 the company launched the world’s hardest steel, Vibenite® 290.
In the latest two years, VBN has focused on the commercialisation of its unique innovations as well as establishing global sales channels in prioritized markets (e.g., Asia, North America, Europe, Middle East, South America). We have also established numerous partnerships for joint development and education. In summary, VBN Components is currently in a strong expansion phase.
Now we are looking for a Business oriented CEO
Today, our current CEO has been head hunted to another top position therefore, we are now looking for a new CEO to manage the company´s growth plans and lead our expedition into an exciting future.
Your tasks:
• Manage the company and be responsible for P&L.
• Set the strategic direction through strategy development and execution.
• Secure operational excellence and quality in the company.
• As the CEO you will be responsible for the global business development and sales. You will bebased in Uppsala but covering the world market.
• Visiting customers will be a major part of your activities. You will identify potential
customers,analyse and review business opportunities, offer solutions, close deals, and finally follow up results and customer benefits.
• An important part of your sales work is to handle the contract management and negotiation and oversee your sales team’s deals.

Your profile:
You’re a doer with many years of B2B sales experience and have worked with international business development. Broad business understanding and business acumen combined with the strategic view of the sales process and the company’s growth is important.
You also have proven experience in small company expansion, financial analysis, contract negotiations and reaching goals.
Authentic leadership and Coaching skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, building trust and gaining commitment.
The role will require extensive international travel, so it is important that your life situation allows for that.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in Business English.
Relevant academic degree in Engineering or in Business management.
Technical understanding and curiosity. It is an advantage if you know the metal materials and international engineering business as well as AM technologies, but you do not need to be an expert in this, since the team already are.
