Introduction:
Water is an essential component of life & unfortunately a fast depleting one. With the vision of “providing clean water for the world”, Stockholm Water Technology AB (SWT) has developed a unique solution to purify & promote the sustainable reuse of water which benefits both mankind & the environment. SWT combines nanotechnology enabled materials with a smart engineering design to enable competitive and versatile products which save water and energy. SWT is now building a team to ramp up our production and sales activities.
Responsibilities:
As the CEO, the candidate is expected to drive the technical, marketing and sales functions within SWT, including finding and initiating partnerships in key sectors, deciding on market entry strategies and in parallel pursuing the industrialization of the product through the development of an automated production line in Sweden. Tasks will include:
Managing the company operations (strategy and execution) in accordance with the company Board
Capitalization and investor relations
Pursue new opportunities in markets and partnerships
Manage and support the scaling of production and supply chain development.
In charge of strengthening the team through recruitment.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate and we expect you to have a good entrepreneurial mind, be result oriented and have a strong drive to take the company to the next phase. You will need to take ownership of the business development and orient the company towards sales both in the local and international markets. Hence fluency in English with a demonstrated flair for developing and maintaining customer relations across multiple domains and international borders is necessary. Experience in start-up capitalization via financing rounds and government funding is important. Experience in developing business in the water sector, both industrial and commercial will be highly appreciated. In addition, the following aspects will be given importance:
Experience in working with capacitive deionization systems (development and use cases) is a major advantage
Good knowledge about managing the development of electrical and control electronics for water treatment systems
Exposure and / or knowledge to build / manage an in-house production environment
