Saab will set up a green field manufacturing facility in India.

We look for an experienced senior officer who is willing to settle down in India and set up a production facility for Saab´s Ground Combat Products



Your role

As part of Saab marketing and sales strategy and the requirements from the Indian Government on the "Make In India" initiative, we will set up a production facility on site. We are now looking for a CEO for the new company. The Position is based in India, the location will be decided later.

You will report to the Head of Business Unit Ground Combat and to Saab FFV India board.



Responsibilities:

* Set up a green field manufacturing unit
* Governance activities
* Incorporation of company
* Central Govt. licenses & State Govt. licenses
* Recruitment of personnel
* Preparation of detailed project plan
* Selection of Location & site
* Selection of Architects, Builders and other contractors, as relevant
* Plant operational / building approvals
* Profit and loss

The role requires an independent-minded person, but also taking active part in a wider team. You are able to meet high expectations and enjoy taking ownership and responsibility. You're analytical and communication skills enable you to keep focus on and to deal with complex projects and situations simultaneously.

Requirements

* Relevant academic education.
* Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
* Extensive experience from leading production projects and setting up new production plants
* International working skills and understanding of other cultures
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrable record of successful production and leadership skills
* Proven ability to build and maintain good and strong internal, partner relationships and networks
* Strong project management skills with a capability to drive production projects.


Desireble

* Broad knowledge of Saab's product portfolio is desirable
* Swedish language, both spoken and written


This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply



What you will be a part of



The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals within Saab/FFV Ordnance and with established network in India. As CEO, you will be reporting to the Saab FFV India Ltd. board and to the Head of BusinessUnit Ground Combat.
