Now they are expanding from Finland to Sweden in order to become a remarkable Nordic player in sports eCommerce.

About the company
The parent company was founded about 10 years ago in Finland, dealing in quality sports utilities. The concept consists of an omni-channel customer experience with integration of warehousing, physical stores in combination with e-commerce. After long hard work in a fiercely competed business field, the company has reached an extremely fast scalable growth during the last couple of years. This role is about scaling up the Finnish parent company’s business concept by repeating the success in Sweden. Since you are the first person in place in Sweden, you will initially focus on learning the business model, establishing it in Sweden by handling all the necessary practical issues, and building a competent team.
Your main tasks will include: Implementing the omni-channel concept in Sweden step-by-step, starting from making the recently launched eCommerce profitable with a competitive conversion rate
Recruiting the Swedish team members based on the skills and qualities needed for repeating the success of the business model
Implementation of the aimed result-driven corporate culture where leading by example, building an atmosphere of trust, excellence, honesty, humility, efficiency, and continuous development are highly valued
Continuous work to identify business opportunities and to develop processes in terms of customer experience, working experience, logistics, technical solutions etc.
Assure relevant localized assortment in help to the Group’s buying team
Identify internal/external stakeholders and build relationships
You will be a part of the Group’s Management Team and will report to the CEO in Finland.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong result-driven entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to flex from operations to strategy and vice versa. You possess a highly developed business acumen, you have a good understanding of KPIs, how to set, track and take action.
Other desired qualities are that you have a strong conceptual understanding and ability to see what type of development is required for the products, marketing and business to keep outperforming the rivals. You get things done, and don’t drop the ball concerning the daily practical stuff while developing continuously.
Your leadership skills are highly important since you need the understanding of different skill-sets in order to recruit and lead successfully, while being able to prioritize timing for each role in your team. Whenever needed, you are able to praise and criticize, support and demand, as well as reward and chastise your colleagues by active and consistent communication. You are also skilled at transferring responsibility whilst maintaining accountability.
You need to be self-motivated, structured with the ability to define goals and prioritize your work.
Qualifications
We think that you might have this kind of background/experience:
• Responsibility of an online business either in a startup or in an eCommerce department
• Digital marketing or eCommerce consultant position with Profit or Profit Loss responsibility
• Proven track record of leading/managing a digital marketing agency with strong results
• Track record of implementing and understanding various IT systems
• Fluent both in Swedish and English, in written and spoken language
• B. Sc Econ/M.B.A or equivalent in Business. If not, we are willing to hear your story of a demonstrated track record
Practical information
Location: Stockholm, Uppsala and other areas within 1 hour from Arlanda airport. Possibly Göteborg - Borås area withing 1 hour of Landvetter. You will work remotely to begin with and will locate the facilities by agreed criteria.
Employment type: Recruitment, with initial probation period of six months.
