Ceph-Storage Engineer

City Network is on an exciting journey providing Enterprises and the public sector with regulatory compliant, cloud-based infrastructure services based on Ceph-Storage. We are a fast growing company! You will join the team of 3-4 engineers maintaining the storage infrastructure for the global cloud services.This role is about running our current clusters but also designing new clusters & enable new features to allow our customers to do even more. We are looking out for a colleague who is a real team player to take on tasks & also like to develop his/her skills, test new features and share ideas to bring us all forward and build an even better service for our customers.
Requirement:
•You should know Ceph in detail.
• Know about Haproxy and Radosgw to offer s3 and swift to the public.
• Maintain and upgrade existing clusters.
• Patient and know how to deal with customer data.
• Automate your repetitive work
Good to have:
• Git
• Ansible / Puppet
• Bash
• Python

What we offer:
•Full-time position with 6 weeks' vacation you can join as soon as we have an agreement . We have a company policy that specifies a 6-month probation period.
•We are flexible in regard to your work place and allow you to choose for yourself. You can select remote work if you are located within the EU or join one of our offices in Karlskrona or Stockholm.
Is travel involved?
We might have customers looking for help in your specific area of expertise and might ask you to come on-site to help them out.If you are a Public Speaker,We highly encourage you to travel to open-source community conferences and meet-ups to give presentations and workshops. If you work remotely and wish to come and visit us, we would be glad to have you at our office.
