Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Would you enjoy working in an international environment with a broad network both internally within the TRATON Group and externally with authorities and technical services? Are you curious and searching for new solutions with the desire to directly contribute to Scania´s success?
We are now strengthening our team with a certification engineer within our management systems regarding; Product Compliance, Cyber Security and Software Updates.
Our business
Electrification, autonomous vehicles and increased safety requirements are pushing the legal demands forward in a high pace. We are working in both the development of new demands and the certification of our products. The work is cross functional within Scania and in cooperation with external partners when it comes to certification .i.e. authorities and technical services. Making sure our products fulfil national and international legal requirements
Managements system is the way in which an organisation manages the related parts of its business in order to achieve its objectives. We evaluate and certify the organisation and its processes to ensure conformity of our products, cyber security and software updates. Fulfilling our internal demands as well as existing and coming legislations.
Scania has established a management system for Product compliance which shall ensure the conformity of our products placed on the market. A cross-functional work within Scania but also with our partners within TRATON Group is necessary.
The challenge
• Contribute to the Scania customer offer with approved, safe and compliant products.
• Improve the daily work, processes and collaboration.
• Contribute to the development of legal demands that affects our products.
• Secure the deliveries in our product development flow.
Your profile
• To succeed you should have the will to learn and the ability to develop within the role.
• You have experience from Scania products and/or Scania product development process or similar business areas.
• You are structured and have the ability to combine and prioritise among various task.
• You have the ability to combine an understanding of processes, management systems and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• You have good communication skills and the ability to build up a network within Scania and externally.
• You have the ability to see an eagle-eye perspective and connect different processes.
• You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• You have an engineering degree.
As a person you are positive and social team player, eager to learn and like to work with various tasks. You enjoy working in a broad network both internally and externally with authorities and suppliers. You are good at building relationships and create team spirit, and have the ability to share experiences and information with your colleagues in a generous way.
