About the job
Polarium R&D department is looking to hire a Certification & Regulatory Engineer to act as company specialist in product and system certification. In this role you will be the certification lead for all products and systems, as well as responsible for certification strategies and procedures, making sure all released products have necessary approvals in place. You will also make sure all certification reports are in line with company standards. The position is based in Kista, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
- Act as lead for certification work in projects
- Drive and coordinate certification efforts in and between projects
- Define and negotiate test planning with 3’rd party test houses
- Lead the work of producing all internal documentation related to certification and regulatory approvals
- Review and approve test reports and certificates
- Ensure that all certification documentation, reports, and certificates are properly filed.
- Keep up to date with standards development
- Participate in relevant technical committees for applicable standards
Qualification and experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience from similar roles
- Extensive experience from certification
- Experience from lithium batteries and power electronics
- Experience from functional safety critical systems and certifications
- Relevant higher education
