Airmee is seeking a CFO to be the finance leader for our company with a focus on financing, strategic decision support, financial controllership and cost efficiency.
Airmee is one of Europe’s fastest growing logistics startups transforming last-mile delivery, backed by some of Sweden’s biggest investors and entrepreneurs. We help e-commerce by leveraging machine learning and powerful proprietary research-based technology to provide convenient and fast e-commerce deliveries in urban areas same day or as fast as within the hour.

What are we looking for?
As the CFO, you are responsible for making the maximum contribution to the company's growth and profitability via an efficiently run financial function.
This is a leadership role central to our growth and organization, so you cannot be a stranger to operating in fast-moving environments.. Airmee's high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and target driven, skilled in the art of finance, able to work autonomously and take full control and responsibility for the company's finances.
You will report to the CEO and work close with the management team to push the boundaries of current and future goals. You will be the one holding everyone accountable by presenting the facts in the form of figures. Your responsibility includes reporting, forecasting, budgeting and maintaining relationships with key financial stakeholders. You will be the main financial contact to investors and responsible for ensuring a capital structure that can support the company’s growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who is able to support both high-level complex accounting and finance responsibilities, strategic initiatives as well as not being afraid to dive into the details on a day-to-day basis. We’re building the next great logistics platform, and we need world-class talent to achieve our vision.
What will you be doing?
- Develop all planning, forecasting, and reporting models
- Take hands-on lead position to identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial controls via financial KPIs
- Identify, resolve, or provide guidance to manage complex data sets and analyses. You will bring in insights to address financial risk and support frugality.
- Provide the team with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage others, develop exceptional talent, and encourage your team to challenge assumptions
- Have backbone, disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues, harmonize conflicting views, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
- Communicate financial and business results and be a support to CEO and board in financial and business matters
- Be highly involved in financing rounds and communicate with existing and potential investors
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of finance experience in high-growth organizations
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of working with boards, investors and complex financing rounds to solve financial and legal matters
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Previous experience with Manufacturing, E-commerce or Logistics processes and systems a plus
- Expert skills in Excel and other analysis tools
- Fluent in Swedish and English
