Midroc Metalock Engineering AB is a global group of Mechanical Engineering Companies operating in the power generation, steel, oil and gas, mining and marine industries on sites around the globe, usually on short term high risk projects. This mindset is shown throughout the organization from the Group MD to the blue collar technicians. The group comprises 9 companies based in Sweden, UK, Germany, South Africa, India, USA, Dubai, France and Saudi Arabia employing approximately 550 people with a turnover of 600 millon SEK.

The overall objective for the CFO will be to contribute to the profitable development of the Company and support the Group MD and the organization in troubleshooting within the Group. The CFO will be responsible for the financial planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the Group accounts as well as direct responsibility for the Swedish finance department both in terms of personnel and supply of financial reporting. The CFO is part of the management group and will work closely with and report to the Managing Director. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Area of responsibility:

• Deliver high quality financial statements on time
• Comply with law and regulations within each country where the group functions
• Lead and coordinate the Group Accounts
• Responsible for the Group Budget and Forecast
• Support group accountants when required to achive their forcasted targets
• Consolidation
• Follow-up analysis
• Manage monthly, four-monthly, semi-annual and annual reporting
• Manage contacts with the companys Auditors
• Advisor to the Group MD in financial matters


The successful candidate has a university degree in Business Administration and a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience.

You have experience from different ERP systems and you are an experienced user in Excel. It is important that you are open to travel and that you speak Swedish and English fluently, both written and spoken.
