CFO, Finance and Controlling

· The successful candidate will act as member of the board engagement in board reviews and strategic discussions. Presentation of finance and profit situation to the board members. They will act as a Co-Representation of Legal Entity and ensure all legal-entity related obligations and duties. Control and permanent supervision of capital equipment and dept positions. Ensuring liquidity during the year and constantly control of the cash situation. Analyze and supervision of equity structure.
· Coordinating and supervising the divisional controlling activities from am aggregated perspective in order to safeguard overall profit optimization for Daimler in the local market. Providing corporate view for cross divisional projects, initiatives, usage of assets, etc. or any decision impacting the overall company. Controlling for mandate functions and internal SLA’s with Divisions and external SLA´s with Own retail, Dealers and other group companies.
· Managing direct G&A cost controlling for the legal entity, taking into account divisional requirements. Supporting cash management process. Minimizing division's risk exposure and conduct divisional risk management.
· The successful candidate will also ensure sufficient funding for all legal entity activities in coordination with central Treasury, and be responsible for corporate risk management process.
· The chosen candidate will also lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations on the basis of the mission statement. Ensure a target-oriented internal communication. Provide for employee and task related qualification regarding the requirements of Compliance. Ensure the achievement of agreed targets.
· Providing support (for Division) and ensuring for Legal Entity, correct and transparent recording of all business transactions in the relevant period. This includes corporate reporting and publication of audited company results on time and in accordance with general accounting principles, existing laws and internal guidelines (incl. ICS).
· Providing support for Division and ensuring, for Legal Entity, adequate preparation of periodical financial statements (Balance sheet, profit/loss) according to national and Daimler standards and communication with SSC Accounting.
· Financial risk: Manage credit exposure to dealers; participation in local dealer risk committee, for Division and Legal Entity.
· Ensure quality and compliance due to adequate control mechanisms, only for the Legal Entity.
