CFO / Head of Finance to Scania Industrial Maintenance AB

Scania Industrial Maintenance AB is a technical production support company and part of Scania CV AB, which is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines, to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. We have a wide range of services within industrial projects and responsibility for production and property maintenance. We have specialized expertise in, among other things, automation, control & regulations, electricity and plumbing. We are approximately 1000 employees in Södertälje, Oskarshamn and Luleå.

We are looking for a CFO with proven leadership and solid financial experience. A motivational leader who is capable of inspiring and developing our finance team to deliver on our 2025 strategy, objectives and financial targets – and be the best financial business partners to Scania Industrial Maintenance (IM). You will have a key role as member of Scania IM management team.

Your finance team consists of four engaged controllers with high knowledge and experience. The team work independently and at the same time supporting each other and share knowledge in order to achieve better results.  In this role you will report to the MD at Scania IM.

Main responsibility
As a member of the Scania IM management team you stand for stability and control as well for change and challenge. You will lead the work to ensure a good financial control and clear communication of the financial situation regarding the business areas.

Since Scania IM is its own legal entity within Scania CV, this means that you as CFO have responsibility for financial reports internally, to the company board and to Scania Group. You will have many contacts areas throughout Scania in this role.

We expect you to work closely with the business and actively take part in setting targets for a cost efficient use of resources.

The finance departments main areas of responsibility are;


• Internal reporting, budget and forecasting
• Investment process
• Governance and development of financial model
• Work with cost/pricing
• To further develop business management/controlling 

You will lead the work of the finance department and continue drive change, business controlling by supporting the strategy of driving the shift and becoming a reference in the business.

Today we have many system solutions and you will also be involved in Scania system related improvement projects.

Your Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic, business minded person with strong leadership skills and solid financial background. You have a proven track record to challenge and influence an organization to get sustainable results. To thrive as our new CFO we see that you have the competence to balance different interests, e.g. long-term competence development, short-term deliveries and co-worker’s actual situation.

You have the skill to convert needs into clear goals and deliveries for the team and surrounding interfaces. In order to reach out and have impact you have strong communication skills both orally and written in Swedish and English.

We are looking for a person with:


• Degree of Master of Science in Business or equivalent with several years of relevant work experience
• Visionary approach rather than administrative focus
• A genuine interest in developing people, individuals and teams – as well as ability to effectively coach your team
• High integrity

It is a merit if you have experience of working in the manufacturing industry and experience of larger business systems.
